About
Greetings!
I’m a Seattle-based creative leader with over 20 years’ experience delivering experiences at the intersection of narrative, technology and design. I am a storyteller at heart, an idealist per Myers-Briggs (INFP for the win!) and a problem solver by profession.
As a cofounder of Minerva Interactive, an artisan game studio, I am focused on extending the reach of classic literature into the digital age by interspersing content with narrative-related mini game activities. Our team’s first title, Playing Pride & Prejudice: An Austen Armoire is now available on Steam.
At HTC Creative Labs, the innovation arm of the Taiwanese company, I led and worked alongside teams of designers, artists and writers on experiences such as VIVE Video and VIVE Reality System, the operating system that runs the VIVE Cosmos headset.
At Microsoft in a series of roles in the Hardware organization, I spearheaded the design of a successful, repeatable framework for product out-of-box experiences.
I ALWAYS START WITH STORY. FOR SOMETHING TO BE WORTH DOING, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A GOOD ANSWER TO THE QUESTION "WHY?"
What does this technology do well? How does it help people? Why should they care?
What's your story?
